Key Responsibilities
  • To execute daily BAU operations and volume of Mortgage release activities including advice review and disbursement for first and progressive release while ensuring that the perfection of the legal documentation is complied with the Bank’s policy, regulatory & statutory guidelines within agreed SLA.
  • To execute and provide support/assistance in BAU documentation process for releasing of Unsecured Financing portfolio (ASB, Education, Solar and etc) and Business Financing.
  • To ensure timely submission of payment instruction (dual signing) and maintenance submitted to Project & Payment Section.
  • Engage and manage expectations of relevant stakeholders in the course of work e.g. Product, Sales, Relationship Manager, Legal, Developers, and other stakeholders. This may involve periodic briefings, training sessions, or discussions.
  • Participate in process re-engineering and process reviews to ensure that the SLA requirements are met, process are aligned with best practices and staff productivity is optimized.
  • To maintain and furnish reports on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis, as well as on an ad hoc basis for management reporting.
  • Undertake any additional duties assigned by Unit Head, Section Head or Head, FCAD as needed.
  • Review and consistently update FCAD’s Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and ensure that all staff are informed of any pertinent process changes.
  • Establish effective, and collaborative working relationships with other related teams internally by providing value-added support.
  • Supervise staff members, including their skill development through coaching/training and encourage the application of values in their daily work to foster teamwork, dedication, and high performance.
  • Assist Unit Head, Section Head in developing, reviewing, and managing standardization and effective controls within the scope of responsibilities and functions in the Documentation Unit including management of costs.
  • Address complaints and develop action plans to prevent recurrence. Develop and grow the team by setting clear goals, coaching and ensure that subordinates have the skills and resources needs to succeed.
  • To assist / relief and other team members within the Section or other Sections within FCAD as and when is required.
Qualifications And Experience
  • Minimum Degree or Diploma (with work experiences) in Banking/Business/Finance or any professional qualification from IBBM
  • Minimum 10 years working experience (min 5 years in managerial role) in related fields. Experience in managing volume in operations.
  • Effective written and spoken communication skills – English Language & Bahasa Malaysia
  • Good working knowledge in the Bank’s policies and procedures
