Industrial & Commercial Bank of China in Kuala Lumpur invites an experienced AML/CFT professional to execute daily compliance operations, perform KYC reviews, and monitor transactions in line with Bank Negara Malaysia and the Parent Bank.
The role covers annual AML work plans, regulatory reporting to senior committees, training, and system enhancements. Fluency in English and Mandarin is preferred to liaise with Head Office in China.

Execute daily AML/CFT/CPF/Sanction operations in a timely manner including KYC reviews, transaction monitoring alerts, sanction name list management in accordance with the requirements of Bank Negara Malaysia and the Parent Bank.
Execute annual AML/CFT/CPF/Sanction work plan in a timely manner including compliance testing, product AML risk assessment, parameter reviews and revise the Bank’s AML/CFT/CPF/Sanction related procedures.
Timely attend to periodic and ad-hoc reporting requests from regulators and the Parent Bank.
Prepare AML/CFT/CPF/Sanction periodic reports for submission to the Senior Management Committee, AML/CFT Committee, Board Committee and/or the Board of Directors.
Attend to enquiries and requests for documents/information from Law Enforcement Agencies (LEA).
Assists in coordinating and conducting AML/CFT/CPF/Sanction training sessions for relevant departments/branches/staff.
Assists to promote compliance awareness among staff by sharing best practices, AML related updates and Newsletter.
Propose and support system enhancements (e.g. BRAINS, STORMS) to improve existing processes, perform system review, optimizations, upgrades and perform User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
Undertake and complete any ad-hoc assignments as assigned by the Head of Department and / or Senior Management.
