Job Purpose

Job Responsibilities

• Develop and implement data governance frameworks, policies, and procedures
• Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and standards
• Oversee data quality initiatives to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability
• Lead and manage a team of data governance professionals
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to promote data governance best practices
• Monitor and report on data governance metrics and KPIs
• Provide training and support to staff on data governance and data management practices

Education/ Professional Qualification & Professional Qualification

• Bachelor's degree in Information Management, Computer Science, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred
• Proven experience in data governance, data quality, and data privacy
• Strong understanding of data governance frameworks and best practices
• Excellent leadership and team management skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience with data governance tools and technologies
• Minimum of 4 years relevant Data Governance and People Manager Experience required:
• Certification in data governance or data management (e.g., CDMP, DGSP)
• Knowledge of relevant data privacy laws and regulations (e.g., PDPA)
