Position Overview:

The role leads and develops the company’s strategic plan across various time horizons, ensuring its implementation throughout the business by leveraging performance standards, competitive market intelligence, and geopolitical insights for prioritization at all levels. The role ensures the strategic development, design, alignment, and execution of initiatives that drive the company toward fulfilling its purpose and achieving its goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Formulate and lead the execution of a comprehensive strategic plan for the company, with a focus on long-term goals spanning 10 to 15 years.
  • Develop integrated strategy, entailing framework establishment, oversight of strategic, risk management, stakeholder engagement, and reporting compliance to foster sustainable growth and mitigate challenges for the Company.
  • Lead the facilitation and management of the development, execution and monitoring activities of 5 years Strategic Plan to the best quality and industry-recognised standard.
  • Direct and align integrated strategy plan, and portfolios and their linkage to Company’s goals and objectives via periodic engagements and reviews with businesses.
  • Conduct research and gather information on the latest developments in the energy industry that could affect the organisation by understanding particular pricing, supply and demand balance, and keep track of government policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Advise in the preparation of annual business plan & budget aligning to Company’s goals and strategy plan.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Engineering or a closely related discipline.
  • Minimum 15 years of working experience with at least 10 years in strategy development and corporate planning.
  • Strong understanding of the oil and gas industry and value chain, from upstream (development & abandonment concepts) to midstream (pipeline, LNG, virtual pipeline system) and downstream (regasification, LPG, Gas & Power).
  • Excellent qualitative and quantitative analytical abilities, coupled with the ability to make reasoned judgements based on available information.
  • Strong interpersonal skills (listening, inquiry, advocacy, facilitation and negotiation), results-driven and comfortable working in a diverse and fast-paced work environment.
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office tools, including PowerPoint and Word, with advanced proficiency in Excel being an advantage.
  • Experience with LEAN and Six Sigma would be an advantage.
