Job description

Job Responsibilities
  • Supervise the corporate assurance function for the assigned portfolio, coordinating a centralized focus on scope and risk assessment within SDPB to ensure consistent focus on risk areas in review work.
  • Manage review responsibilities through overseeing work teams from planning to closure and follow-up, adhering to GACD methodology and practices to meet objectives.
  • Lead review teams in complex and high-profile assignments, projects, special reviews, business advisory, or joint ventures to achieve GCAD’s objectives.
  • Implement development requirements for the GCA team, including review practices and employee development, and supervise administrative functions for efficient GCA operations.
Job Responsibilities
  • Contribute to developing the annual GCA plan and budgets, based on formulated review strategies aligned with SDPB's business risks.
  • Oversee the end-to-end execution of assigned portfolios, ensuring compliance with review strategies and GCA methodology.
  • Review and approve work programs, including those for complex reviews, ensuring they are appropriately updated and followed.
  • Assess review objectives and scope to ensure efficiency and adherence to methodologies and strategies.
  • Perform and lead special, investigative, or confidential reviews.
  • Provide guidance and support to team members throughout the audit review process.

  • Ensure all issues and recommendations meet high standards, are properly profiled, and effectively communicated to clients and the GCA Head.
  • Review and approve working papers in accordance with the International Professional Practices Framework.
  • Ensure effective closure of issues, re-assess management responses, and monitor timely implementation of action plans.
  • Gather feedback from auditees regarding the audit review performance.
  • Highlight potential high-risk areas not included in the audit plan to the VP LL or GCA Head.
  • Prepare ad-hoc and periodic reports related to GCA work, including achievements, key findings, and recommendations for management review.
