In this capacity, the Manager is responsible for ensuring that AEON Credit Services consistently adheres to both regulatory requirements and internal policies by carrying out thorough, independent reviews and assessments of compliance practices and procedures.

Leadership & Management:

Lead and manage the Compliance Testing team, including recruitment, training, and performance evaluation.

Develop a comprehensive compliance testing strategy and framework aligned with regulatory requirements and organizational goals.

Provide guidance and mentorship to team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.

Compliance Testing & Reviews:

Plan, execute, and oversee compliance testing activities across various business units.

Develop and maintain testing methodologies, checklists, and documentation.

Ensure thorough documentation of testing procedures, findings, and recommendations.

Conduct root cause analysis of compliance issues and work with business units to develop corrective action plans.

Identify and assess compliance risks through testing and monitoring activities.

Evaluate the effectiveness of existing controls and recommend enhancements where necessary.

Monitor regulatory developments and update testing procedures to address new compliance risks.

Reporting & Communication:

Prepare detailed reports on testing outcomes, highlighting key findings, risks, and recommendations.

Present findings to senior management and relevant stakeholders, ensuring transparency and understanding of compliance issues.

Collaborate with the Risk and Internal Audit departments to ensure a coordinated approach to risk management and control assurance.

Stakeholder Engagement:

Build strong relationships with business units to promote a culture of compliance and continuous improvement.

Act as a key liaison with regulatory bodies during audits and examinations related to compliance testing.

Provide support and advisory services to business units on compliance-related matters.

Minimum job requirement (education & experience)

Bachelor’s/University Degree from recognized university or equivalent experience on compliance related disciplines. Preferably with AML/CFT professional certification.

At least [X years] of experience in compliance, audit, or risk management, with a focus on compliance testing or monitoring.

Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements, particularly in the financial services industry.

Proven leadership and team management experience

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
