Job Description

The Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy (LKYSPP) is one of Asia’s leading public policy schools, contributing to policy thought and leadership across the region and beyond. We are seeking a motivated and capable Manager to support the School’s communications and marketing functions.

The successful candidate will play a key role in executing and coordinating communications, digital marketing, and content activities to enhance the School’s visibility, promote its programmes, and engage key audiences including prospective students, partners, and the wider public.

1. Content Development & Coordination

  • Develop and coordinate content across channels (e.g., social media, websites, newsletters, eDMs).
  • Support the production of written and visual materials including news articles, videos, infographics, and social content.
  • Assist in repurposing faculty insights, research, and event highlights into engaging, audience-friendly formats.

2. Communications Support

  • Execute internal and external communications activities in alignment with the School’s messaging guidelines.
  • Assist with drafting press releases, speeches, event write-ups, and faculty bios for publicity and outreach.
  • Support the preparation of communications toolkits and materials for School initiatives.

3. Marketing & Digital Campaigns

  • Assist in planning and executing marketing campaigns to promote student recruitment, executive education, and key School initiatives.
  • Coordinate campaign assets (images, captions, links) and support performance monitoring using analytics tools.
  • Liaise with vendors or central units for digital ad placements, email campaigns, and paid media.

4. Media & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Maintain media and mailing lists; support outreach to alumni, partners, and public audiences through digital channels.
  • Provide logistical support for media interviews, photo/video shoots, and communications-related aspects of School events.
  • Monitor media coverage and assist in compiling reports on School visibility.

5. Project Coordination & Team Support

  • Support project timelines, content calendars, and asset library maintenance.
  • Liaise with internal departments (e.g., programmes, events, development) for campaign inputs and coordination.
  • Work closely with team members on cross-functional deliverables including campaign tracking and reporting.
Qualifications
  • A recognised Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Media, or a related discipline.
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in marketing, content creation, or communications, ideally in higher education, the public sector, or related fields.
  • Strong writing and editing skills with the ability to translate complex content into accessible formats.
  • Familiarity with digital marketing tools (e.g., social media schedulers, email marketing platforms).
  • Working knowledge of design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe suite) and/or basic video editing would be an advantage.
  • Able to multitask, manage timelines, and communicate effectively across teams.
