Job Summary:

Responsible for providing effective and efficient operations support to meet branch and company objectives.

Job Description:
  1. Assist the Branch Manager with daily branch operations and support activities.
  2. Support marketing team with agency applications, reporting, administration, correspondence, credit control, payments, quotations, policy administration, renewals, and monitoring CBC, MCM, and CPD hours.
  3. Handle agent, customer, and OSS requests (for OSS services), inquiries, transactions, including complaint handling and claims administration (excluding claims handling).
  4. Underwrite and accept risks within the assigned Underwriting Authority Limit.
  5. Assist in Office Agent Management, servicing assigned/non-assigned agents.
  6. Support BCM matters as required, when appointed.
  7. Perform other duties as assigned by the Branch Manager, including organization, event management, training, and administrative tasks such as scanning, filing, and storing files.
  8. Ensure compliance with business and regulatory requirements, taking steps to mitigate risks.
  9. Stay informed of industry trends, regulatory changes, emerging threats, and technologies to safeguard the company.
  10. Proactively identify potential risks and share best practices in risk management.
The Person:
  • Diploma/Degree in insurance-related courses; essential insurance qualifications (e.g., LOMA, AMII).
  • 3-5 years insurance experience with knowledge of branch operations.
  • Strong command of English (spoken and written); Mandarin is an advantage.
  • Leadership and effective communication skills.
  • High integrity, accountability, positive attitude, and teamwork-oriented.
  • Proactive in improvements and adaptable to change.
