Manager Business Process Management

Currently, House of Shipping is recruiting Manager - Business Process Management (BPM) for one of their leading global container shipping companies.

Job Purpose:

The Regional team is responsible for evaluating, measuring, monitoring, and controlling the business process to ensure the outcomes align with the organization's strategic goals. This role also supports and helps achieve operational excellence in system implementation.

Main tasks and responsibilities:

1. Analyze current business processes and workflows and identify areas for improvement.
2. Engage with various stakeholders to gather business requirements and propose solutions in liaison with HQ Business Process Management and the Regional Managing Director.
3. Drive business process performance and collaborate with key stakeholders to identify bottlenecks, recommend solutions, and drive continuous optimization.
4. Monitor the successful onboarding of new agencies within the region.
5. Serve as the point of contact for the respective region covering process and SAP-related tasks/communication.
6. Provide first-level guidance regarding SAP issues and coordinate enhancements with the SAP Implementation Manager.
7. Facilitate Process Management and System-related training.
8. Ensure Business Continuity.
9. Share best practices across the organization.

Education requirements:

Graduate level education, good computer skills (intimate knowledge of SAP is an advantage), MS Office - Excel.

Language requirements:

English – Fluent.

Background and experience:

Minimum 5 - 8 years of experience, preferably but not necessarily within NVOCC/Container Shipping environment.

Knowledge of Shipping is required.

Knowledge in Process Improvement would be an advantage.

Knowledge of SAP capabilities would be an advantage.
