A leading hospitality management and proptech company in Kuala Lumpur seeks a Manager for Business Development. This role involves developing strategic plans, analyzing market trends, and cultivating client relationships to drive sales growth. Candidates with at least 6 years of experience and strong communication skills, particularly in Mandarin, are encouraged to apply. Develop and implement business plans to achieve targeted revenue and growth in property management.
Research market trends and competitors to uncover risks, opportunities, and growth areas for sales planning.
Leverage existing relationships to introduce additional property and services to clients.
Maintain an accurate and robust sales pipeline to ensure a steady flow of business opportunities.
Create and implement sales strategies to achieve company targets and drive team success.
Analyze market trends and competitor dynamics to adjust sales strategies effectively.
Build and maintain strong connections with key accounts, property agencies, corporations, and partners to ensure ongoing success.
Cultivate and maintain long-term partnerships with key clients and stakeholders.
Develop B2C partnerships and alliances that foster long-term business growth and expansion.
Establishing in annual sales goals and develop action plans to meet and exceed these targets.
Deliver weekly/monthly sales reports, revenue forecasts, and market intelligence to inform management decisions.
Address customer complaints and resolve sales-related issues, ensuring the company's interests are protected.
Work closely with Design & Project teams and other internal stakeholders to fulfil customers' needs.
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
Minimum 6 years and above experience in sales, business development or client management, or similar field.
Strong negotiations and communication skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to confidently engage with clients and internal teams.
Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close.
Strong presentation and negotiation abilities with a self-driven with result-oriented mindset.
Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing client accounts.
Analytic thinker with strategic planning ability.
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) in English; proficiency in Mandarin language is an advantage.
Ability to research and identify new market opportunities and potential partnerships.
Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Team player with strong organizational and time management skills.
