Manager - Branch Operational Risk Management (East Coast)

The role involves:

  1. Analyzing and managing risk management issues by reviewing and embedding risks and control self-assessments for the branch network.
  2. Conducting desktop (for branches not reachable) and onsite reviews, including independent cash counts, on a quarterly basis.
  3. Performing and validating the Risk & Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) at branches according to the scheduled site visits.
  4. Ensuring timely and appropriate reporting, along with recommendations to management.
  5. Collaborating with Branch Operations Support, Group Compliance, Group Risk Management, PFS Compliance, Branches, RMOs to plan, design, and implement the overall risk and control self-assessment process.
  6. Updating the RCSA document periodically as new risks are identified or guidelines are revised.
  7. Owning and governing the branch's RCSA documentation.
  8. Promoting good corporate governance by ensuring operational risk and control reporting compliance across branches and RMOs.
  9. Reviewing, updating, and formulating standard operating procedures and policies as needed.
  10. Providing training and support to staff to foster risk awareness.
  11. Ensuring adherence to operational and regulatory compliance procedures.
  12. Maintaining regular liaison with branches, including BMs, CSOMs, RMOs, RCMs, and support units, including conducting training sessions for staff.
  13. Performing other duties as assigned by management.
