About the Job

To administer and manage the branch operational efficiency and provide value-added services that align with the organisation's vision and mission. Responsible for the overall administration and operations of the branch.

  • Overall management of front and back office administration.
  • Supervise and train staff on procedures, guidelines, and product knowledge.
  • Ensure branch adherence to Quality Objectives, Service Turnaround Time (TAT), Policies, Guidelines, and Branch Operational Guide (BOG).
  • Serve as key liaison between Head Office and the Branch.
  • Plan and strategize for the branch in alignment with company and management directives.
  • Manage manpower and human resource planning.
  • Coordinate with the Agency Director to provide operational training to field force members.
  • Cultivate a 'humanized' culture and promote excellent service experiences for customers and agents.
  • Address inquiries and complaints effectively, ensuring follow-up.
  • Consider business and regulatory compliance risks, taking steps to mitigate them.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, regulatory changes, emerging threats, and technologies to understand risks and safeguard the company.
  • Identify potential concerns/risks and share best risk management practices proactively.
We are looking for people who
  • Hold a tertiary qualification in any discipline recognized by the Malaysian Ministry of Higher Education, preferably in Management, Insurance, Business Studies, Administration, or related fields, or possess ACS, ACII, AMII, AII certifications.
  • Have a minimum of 7 years’ experience in the insurance industry and at least 5 years in a supervisory role.
