Experience:
Minimum 5 years of related working experience in Sustainability, especially in the oil palm industry.

Qualification:
Degree in Environmental Science, Sustainable Development or a related discipline.

Responsibilities:

• Act as a change agent to nurture responsible business and sustainability culture helping to engineer, manage and implement the Group’s sustainability vision, mission, strategy and transformation agenda.
• Develop, implement and review Policies as well as Sustainability Reporting Frameworks and Standards that support the Group’s Environmental objectives and strategies.
• Conduct internal training programs on matters related to environmental issues and policies.
• Coordinate with all operating units to strive towards embedding environmental sustainability in organizational culture and in business operations.
• Liaise closely with relevant departments in the compilation and verification of environmental data, and present the information and findings in the Sustainability Report.
• Communicate sustainability initiatives or information to all employees to increase awareness and strive towards mindset alignment.
• Conduct research on current Sustainability issues to stay abreast of new developments in sustainability-related policies, best practices, and technology related to the environment.
• Establish a strong network and coordinate discussions with sustainability practitioners, professionals, consultants, government agencies, regulatory bodies, and parties on Sustainability matters, especially related to the environment.

Requirements:

• Degree in Environmental Science, Sustainable Development or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of related working experience in Sustainability, especially in the oil palm industry.
• Knowledge of sustainability management is a prerequisite.
• Ability to plan, implement and deliver Sustainability Environmental Programs like climate change initiatives.
• Ability to analyze data and information and present findings in a concise manner.
• Self-starter, confident and able to engage well with people.
• Excellent planning, organizing, coordination and presentation skills.
• Good interpersonal, presentation and communication skills (verbal & written).
• Good command of English and possesses good report writing skills.
• Good understanding of SBTi and the GHG Protocol are plus points.
