A leading company specializing in precision machining seeks an Assistant Human Resources Manager. You will supervise HR functions including recruitment, employee relations, compliance, and payroll. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree and at least 6 years in HR, along with strong leadership and communication skills.

Oversees and execute all aspects of human resources & administrative practices, processes and workplace safety functions including managing recruitment, employee relations, performance management, training and development, compensation and benefits, ensuring compliance with labor laws and safety regulations.
Handle and monitor the full lifecycle of foreign workers and expatriates including quota application, work permit applications, renewal, cancellations, and coordination with immigration authorities, embassies and relevant government agencies.
Ensure compliance with labor laws, employment regulations and company policies.
Develop and implement HR procedures and policies to maintain legal compliance and organizational standards.
Manage monthly payroll and statutory contributions in coordination with the finance department.
Oversee performance evaluation processes and provide guidance to managers on conducting reviews.
Collaborate with managers and employees to set the key performance Indicator (KPI) and conduct monthly review.
Conduct investigations into employee complaints or violations of company policies.
Oversees and lead the team in develop, implement, and enforce safety policies and procedures in line with local, state, and federal regulations (e.g., OSHA).
Conduct regular safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments to identify hazards and implement corrective actions.
Implement and continuously improve of 5S + Safety activities and promote safe conduct of work.
Oversee daily administrative operations including office management, facilities, company vehicles, security management, cleaning management and others related tasks.
Lead HR audits such as ISO, corporate social responsibility (CSR) or customer audits and ensure documentation is up to date.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field.
Minimum 6 years & above experience in the full spectrum of HR, administrative and safety management.
Knowledge of the Employment Act 1955.
Familiarity with ISO standard and audit procedures.
Proficiency in MS Office and relevant software applications.
Ability to lead and inspire a team, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
Adaptability and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Willingness to handle and execute all assigned tasks.
Proficient in written and spoken English and Malay. Fluency in Mandarin is an added advantage.
