Job description

Manager / Assistant Manager, Finance & Accounts

To carry out and perform all tasks relevant to the Group Consolidation Reporting functions, including but not limited to Monthly Management Accounts and Reports, Quarterly Interim Results for Bursa announcement purposes and Annual Audited Financial Statement.

To prepare and ensure the full set of Monthly Financial Reports for both the company level and group level of listed company including the financial variance analysis against budget and prior year are ready for the Management Committee consumption on a timely and accurate basis.

To carry out and perform monthly budgetary planning for the Group including preparing monthly cash flow forecast for the fund placement and withdrawal with financial institutions and asset management companies.

To ensure compliance with group policies and procedures and internal controls.

To carry out and prepare the annual tax computation, 6th and 9th months tax revision, liaise and work together with tax agent on the timely and accurate submission.

To carry out and prepare the annual budget for the ARMC and board approval, beside monthly monitoring on actual vs budget variance.

To liaise and work together with bankers, external auditor, tax agent and company secretary.

To assist the CFO in preparation of Board of Directors, Audit & Risk Management Committees and any other Sub-Committees Meeting Papers.

To assist, implement and undertake the corporate proposals and exercises for the Company, including preparation and/or review of submission documents and working in collaboration with the Company's main adviser and other consultations involved.

To assist and implement the Company's equity fund raising and debt financing exercises including raising of debt capitals and/or corporate borrowing, if necessary.

To assist the Company or the Board of Directors in handling investor relations related functions within the Group.

To assume any other roles and responsibilities related to Finance and Accounts are not specified above.

Any ad-hoc assignments in relation to Finance and Accounts as and when required.

Requirements:

Possess at least Degree in Accounting / Finance or related professional qualification (s).

Minimum 5 year(s) relevant working experience, preferably with audit experience.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office ie Excel and preferably with knowledge of using AutoCount system.

Able to prioritize tasks and meet the deadlines.

Good written and verbal communication skills in English and Malay.
