Job Overview

The position holder will be responsible for the execution of the university’s plan in expanding partnerships portfolio with other local and international parties and organisations.

Key Responsibilities

1. Develop and initiate Partnerships Programme (Franchise) with International Partners delivering the university programmes;
2. Develop and initiate Student Exchange Programmes (bi-directional) – inbound and outbound Student Exchanges;
3. Source and establish successful partnerships (i.e. Dual Award, Franchise Programme and other relevant collaborations) for the University and its affiliated institutions;
4. Develop frameworks, SOPs, policies, regulations, and other guidelines to ensure smooth running of all partnership programmes;
5. Act as the main liaison person with prospective and current partners to ensure smooth operations and optimum satisfaction of students and partners;
6. Source, conduct evaluation and due diligence on prospective partners;
7. Connect internal departments within the university with external partners and facilitate the process;
8. Ensure all partnerships and collaboration programmes comply with all MOUs and MOAs rulings and requirements;
9. Advise and assist the Senate on matters related to partnerships and programmes;
10. Responsible for the success of the operations, development, and growth of partnerships and programmes in terms of revenue;
11. Report on various metrics for all related partnerships and programmes on a periodic basis;
12. Ensure all relevant partnership activities are properly accounted for and all financial invoices are raised to partners within the stipulated timeline;
13. Assist with other relevant tasks and responsibilities related to the general scope of the said unit.

Skills And Experiences

Qualifications Required

1. Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree;
2. Possess at least a minimum of 5 years of experience in the education industry, preferably in a similar role and capacity, with proven demonstrable achievements;
3. Have solid experience in handling partnerships and network building;
4. Knowledge of academic affairs will be an added advantage;
5. Able to write and converse well in English.
