The Manager / Senior Manager, Agency Partnerships & Development will be responsible for expanding, supporting, and optimizing the company’s agency and agent network. The role primarily focuses on:
70% Agency Development & Support – Recruiting, onboarding, and ensuring agencies receive the necessary operational, marketing, and compliance support to drive success.
30% Agent Development & Mentorship – Recruiting, mentoring, and assisting freelance agents to build sustainable careers, including supporting their sales and team-building efforts.
This position reports to the Chief Alliances Officer (CAO) and requires strong relationship management, operational coordination, and leadership skills to drive the company’s agency growth strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Agency Recruitment, Development & Support (70%)
Agency Expansion & Onboarding
- Identify, recruit, and onboard financial agencies of different tiers to expand the company’s distribution network.
- Develop and execute structured onboarding programs to ensure agencies are well-equipped for success.
Marketing & Business Growth Support
- Plan and allocate marketing budgets for agency activities, including roadshows, seminars, events, and promotional campaigns.
- Work closely with the marketing team to create tailored marketing strategies for agency partners.
Operational & Compliance Coordination
- Facilitate and expedite agency-related paperwork, contracts, and agreements according to company policies.
- Coordinate with operations, compliance, and finance teams to ensure all agency needs (e.g., commission structures, compliance requirements, incentives) are documented and fulfilled.
- Maintain clear records of different agency tiers and ensure all entitlements, benefits, and performance metrics are properly managed.
Agency Relationship Management & Problem-Solving
- Act as the key liaison for agency grievances, complaints, and escalations, ensuring quick resolutions.
- Provide ongoing support to agencies to help them overcome challenges and optimize performance.
- Conduct regular check-ins and performance reviews with agencies to ensure alignment with company goals.
2. Agent Recruitment, Mentorship & Team Building (30%)
Recruitment & Onboarding
- Identify and attract independent financial agents to strengthen the company’s direct sales force.
- Guide new agents through onboarding, ensuring they understand products, processes, and sales strategies.
- Provide coaching and training to new agents, assisting them in closing their initial sales.
- Support agents in team-building efforts, helping them recruit and grow their downlines.
- Develop training programs and workshops to enhance agents’ sales skills and financial knowledge.
Performance Monitoring & Reporting
- Track key metrics for agency and agent recruitment, retention, and productivity.
- Provide regular performance reports and market insights to senior management.
- Analyze trends to optimize recruitment and support strategies for sustained growth.
Qualifications & Skills:
Minimum 5-8 years experience in agency recruitment, financial services distribution, or business development.
Proven track record in financial agency growth, distribution network expansion, or partnership management.
Strong leadership, relationship-building, and negotiation skills.
Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on conflict resolution.
Experience in managing budgets for marketing initiatives and agency support.
Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
