MANAGER, ACCESSORIES – PRODUCT PLANNING & ACCESSORIES

Responsibilities:

1. Plan and confirm feasibility with development timeline of new accessories based on product plan for new models and existing models.
2. Develop and execute accessory product strategies to meet revenue targets.
3. Support commercial planning & execution for accessories related activities.
4. Coordinate and manage commercial & technical aspects of accessory products including MMC Genuine Accessories.
5. Execute introduction of new accessories by meeting target cost, requirement, quality and development timeline with signed documents and reports (e.g. PLTF & LTF).
6. Conduct testing and quality control for all accessories and complying to industry standard and regulation.
7. Conduct development for Special Action Model and obtain approval from stakeholders.
8. Managing EOP Inventory with minimum excess solutions to deplete excess accessories stock effectively.
9. Manage and address warranty issues related to accessories. Perform assessments and technical evaluations on cases and recommend improvements.
10. Handle vendor selection, negotiation, relationship management, performance monitoring, and process improvement, while ensuring compliance and collaborating with other teams.
11. Create/review standard operating procedures to improve compliance, efficiency, and internal collaboration.
12. Strong coordination and communication with internal/external stakeholders on accessories related projects.
13. To carry out any other related job functions as required by immediate supervisor or MMM management.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor’s degree with qualification preference in Engineering, Business, or related disciplines.
2. 5+ years of experience in accessories development/testing or automotive product development.
3. Preferred experience in the automotive, especially in accessories or components, with expertise in project management, testing, and manufacturing.
4. Strong understanding of accessories development cycles and testing procedures.
5. Familiarity with quality control processes and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
6. Knowledge of material selection, manufacturing processes, and cost estimation for accessories.
7. Able to work in dynamic environment with a proactive, improvement-focused attitude.
8. Reliable, detail-oriented, and willing to travel.
