Job Description
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of complex NPI programs, managing cross-functional teams across engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and quality to ensure successful launch of new products.
- Manage detailed program schedules, resource allocation, and deliverables while proactively identifying and mitigating risks that may impact time-to-market or quality
- Facilitate interdepartmental coordination to align design, test, materials, and manufacturing readiness activities, ensuring programs meet phase gate exit criteria and launch performance targets (e.g., DPPM, UPH, Cpk, yield).
- Lead cross-functional meetings, drive accountability across stakeholder groups, and ensure project visibility through clear, concise status updates, dashboards, and executive-level reporting.
- Drive decision-making by synthesizing technical and business input from various functions and presenting strategic trade-offs and recommendations to senior leadership.
- Ensure compliance with applicable industry regulations and internal quality standards throughout the NPI process.
- Champion continuous improvement initiatives within the NPI framework, leveraging post-mortem analyses and lessons learned to improve future program execution.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all NPI program activities, providing leadership, direction, and conflict resolution to achieve business and operational objectives.
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Program Management, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- 10+ years of program management experience, including at least 3 years in a senior or leadership role, specifically within NPI.
- Proven track record of leading and delivering complex electronics or consumer electronics products from concept through prototyping, product lifecycle, and into high-volume production
- Deep understanding of end-to-end product development processes, including design reviews (DFM, DFA), product testing, and production ramp
- Strong experience managing global, cross-functional teams including R&D, operations, supply chain, and quality
- Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies such as MS Project, Jira, Stage-Gate, Agile, and Hybrid approaches
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to clearly report status, risks, and mitigation plans to senior leadership
Preferred
- PMP or equivalent project management certification
- Experience working with manufacturing and supply chain partners in a global environment.
- SMT & PCBA manufacturing knowledge is an added advantage.
- Familiarity with Agile or hybrid development methodologies
- Experience with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) tools such as Agile, or similar systems.
- Experience driving continuous improvement (Lean, Six Sigma) in product development processes

- Effective organizational and time management skills to ensure timely, high-quality deliverables
