APT is looking for high-potential individuals to join our Management Trainee – Retail Operations Programme. This is not a traditional administrative role.
You will work closely with our management team, visit and support our outlets, work with frontline teams, participate in training and customer experience initiatives, and gain hands‑on exposure to different areas of retail operations.
Instead of spending years waiting for your first management opportunity, our 12–18 month fast-track development programme is designed to expose you to multiple areas of the business and accelerate your management capabilities.

Management / Operations Executive
Work directly with experienced management, frontline teams and industry experts, gain hands‑on exposure across multiple business areas, and develop the skills needed to become a future leader.

Maintain and improve service standards by working closely with frontline teams and ensuring consistent service quality across outlets.
Enhance customer experience and retention by identifying customer needs, improving service touchpoints and building customer trust.
Liaise with relevant teams and departments to resolve customer feedback or issues, identify root causes and implement improvements to prevent recurring issues.
Support outlet operations and people development by accompanying management to APT outlets, observing service standards, staff performance, SOP compliance and daily operations.
Assist in staff coaching, training and performance improvement, while learning effective people management and leadership skills.
Identify operational and people-related issues, analyse root causes and work with relevant teams to develop practical solutions and action plans.
Follow up on improvement plans and assigned projects, gradually taking greater responsibility for outlet operations, KPI performance and business improvement initiatives.
Gain valuable exposure beyond daily retail operations by supporting management in other projects, including: Business Coordination, Collaborations & Industry Partnerships, Events & Competitions , Association-related Projects & etc.
Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Management, Retail Management, Marketing, Hospitality, HR or related fields.
Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
Candidates with experience in retail, F&B, hospitality, beauty, customer service, training or operations will have an added advantage.
Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin is an added advantage.
Willing to travel between APT outlets as part of the training and development programme.
Ambitious and career-driven, with a strong desire to grow into a management role.
Energetic, proactive and willing to take initiative.
Comfortable working with frontline teams, management and external parties.
Willing to learn, accept feedback and step outside your comfort zone.
Able to work independently as well as collaboratively with a team.
