Job summary

MOMOYO Malaysia is seeking a driven Management Trainee – Operations to develop skills in F&B operations management, outlet performance and team leadership. You will gain hands-on experience in daily outlet operations, product quality, inventory control and staff management while supporting MOMOYO’s expansion across Malaysia.

The role offers exposure to cross-functional projects with Business Development, Marketing, Supply Chain and Finance, with opportunities to contribute to new outlet openings

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Hospitality, F&B Management, Operations Management or a related field.
• Approximately 1 year of experience in F&B, Retail, Hospitality or Operations; fresh grads with relevant internships may apply.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
• Proactive, analytical and eager to learn.
• Willing to travel for outlet visits and operational support across Malaysia.

Responsibilities

• Support daily outlet operations, shift management, opening/closing procedures, and customer service standards.
• Ensure product quality and compliance with recipes, food safety, halal standards and SOPs.
• Assist with stock management, replenishment, wastage reduction and outlet cost monitoring.
• Support manpower scheduling, task allocation and crew training.
• Track outlet sales, service efficiency and customer satisfaction; prepare reports.
• Assist with pre-opening preparations and operational readiness for new outlets.
• Collaborate with Business Development, Marketing, Supply Chain and Finance on improvement projects.

You will gain hands-on experience in daily outlet operations, product quality, inventory control, staff management and new outlet openings while supporting MOMOYO’s expansion across Malaysia.

Key Responsibilities

Daily Outlet Operations: Support daily operations, shift management, opening and closing procedures, cleanliness, hygiene, safety and customer service standards.

Product Quality & Compliance: Ensure product consistency and compliance with recipes, food safety requirements, halal standards and operational SOPs.

Inventory & Cost Control: Assist with stock management, replenishment, wastage reduction and outlet cost monitoring.

Staff Coordination & Training: Support manpower scheduling, task allocation and crew training to maintain efficient outlet operations.

Performance Monitoring: Track outlet sales, service efficiency and customer satisfaction; prepare reports and follow up on operational issues.

New Outlet Development: Assist with pre-opening preparations, outlet setup and operational readiness for new outlets.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with Business Development, Marketing, Supply Chain and Finance teams to support business operations and improvement projects.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Hospitality, F&B Management, Operations Management or a related field.

Approximately 1 year of experience in F&B, Retail, Hospitality or Operations; fresh graduates with relevant internships may also apply.

Strong communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills.

Proactive, analytical and eager to learn.

Comfortable working in a fast-paced F&B environment.

Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin is an added advantage.

Willing to work shifts, weekends and public holidays when required.

Willing to travel for outlet visits and operational support across Malaysia.

Experience in F&B operations, retail operations or outlet management is an advantage.
