Overview

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Mall Manager to oversee the operations and management of EVCC™ PEDAS RSA, Malaysia’s first privately developed, next-generation Rest Service Area (RSA) with integrated retail, food & beverage, and lifestyle amenities along the PLUS Expressway.

As the Mall Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the RSA’s retail environment — from tenant management and promotional activities to customer experience and operational excellence. This role requires a visionary leader with strong retail management skills who can adapt mall practices to a dynamic, high-traffic highway destination.

What you’ll be doing

• Manage the day-to-day operations of the RSA retail areas, including tenant relations, rent collection, and customer service issues
• Develop and implement strategies to attract new tenants and retain existing brands, ensuring a curated mix of F&B and lifestyle offerings
• Coordinate and oversee marketing campaigns, events, and highway-targeted promotions to drive footfall and enhance traveler experience
• Manage the RSA’s commercial budget, including monitoring expenses and identifying cost-saving opportunities without compromising service quality
• Ensure all facilities and common areas are well-maintained, safe, and aligned with GreenRE Platinum sustainability standards
• Liaise with key stakeholders, including PLUS Malaysia Berhad, local authorities, highway operators, and service providers
• Lead, train, and motivate support staff to deliver exceptional service standards across the RSA

• Minimum 5 years of experience in mall, retail complex, or mixed-use property management
• Strong understanding of retail, F&B, and commercial leasing, with awareness of highway retail dynamics and traveler behavior
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to manage relationships with tenants, highway patrons, and corporate stakeholders
• Proven ability to develop and implement effective marketing and promotional strategies tailored for a transit-driven retail hub
• Proficient in financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost optimization
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to adapt to a fast-paced, high-traffic environment
• Highly organized with excellent time management skills and the ability to multitask effectively
