The role leads the Tax Compliance Team, overseeing tax computations and filings, developing SOPs, and maintaining strong client relationships to deliver compliant tax solutions.

Qualifications

• ACCA/CPA/CIMA or equivalent certification required.
• At least 5 years of income tax compliance experience with tax team leadership.
• Strong knowledge of Malaysian tax regulations, compliance procedures and reporting.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; detail-oriented.

Responsabilités

• Oversee and review tax computations and filings for compliance.
• Manage preparation and submission of direct tax returns and deadlines.
• Provide expert advice during tax audits and mitigate risks.
• Stay updated on tax laws and ensure company-wide compliance.
• Lead and mentor the Tax Compliance Team.
• Monitor daily operations for efficient workflows.
• Conduct performance reviews and identify development opportunities.
• Develop and maintain SOPs for tax processes.
• Review and update internal controls reflecting regulatory changes.
• Identify opportunities to improve tax processes and service delivery.
• Build relationships with clients to meet tax compliance needs.
• Provide proactive solutions to complex tax-related issues.
