Job description

At Write Edge, we specialise in providing high-quality English and Writing tuition classes for Primary and Secondary school students in Singapore.

The English enrichment centre was founded in 2014 with a vision to deliver exceptionally effective lessons that help to build a strong foundation in the English language and nurture writing skills in young students.

From just 12 students and 1 branch in Singapore, Write Edge has since expanded to 12 physical branches,1 online arm. In 2020, Write Edge also offers online classes to students in Malaysia.

This role requires someone who canenhance customer experience, ensure smooth day-to-day operations, and drive business development. The ideal candidate is bothbusiness-savvy and people-oriented, capable of optimizing centre performance and setting the organization up for success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up, oversee and ensure smooth daily operations across multiple centres.
  • Monitor key performance metrics (e.g., enrolment rates, customer satisfaction, operational efficiency) and implement improvements.
  • Manage centre budgeting and resource allocation to optimise profitability.
  • Set up operational procedures to drive consistency and efficiency

Student Enrolment & Admissions

  • Develop and implement strategies toincrease student enrolment and retention.
  • Oversee and streamline the admissions process to ensure a seamless customer journey.
  • Work with Marketing to execute lead generation campaigns and improve conversion rates.
  • Analyse enrollment trends and customer feedback to refine strategies.

Customer Engagement & Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with parents and students to drive satisfaction and referrals.
  • Handle enrolment inquiries, consultations, and parent concerns with professionalism.
  • Develop customer engagement initiatives to enhance retention and word-of-mouth marketing.

Business Development & Growth

  • Develop and implement strategies to increase enrolment and student retention.
  • Identify and explore new business opportunities, partnerships, and collaborations.
  • Work closely with marketing to enhance brand awareness and drive lead generation.
  • Analyse market trends and competitor landscape to refine offerings and pricing strategies.
  • Oversee customer engagement initiatives to improve parent satisfaction and encourage referrals.

Others

  • Support the onboarding and integration of new hires to ensure a smooth transition.
  • Work with HR to identify staffing needs and recruitment strategies for different branches.
  • Support special projects and initiatives related to centre operations, process improvements, marketing or business development.

Requirements:

  • At least 3-4 years of experience in the education sector
  • Experience taking up challenges, working to and exceeding targets
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment and handle varied tasks
  • High level communication skills - excellent written and verbal English is a must
  • Good stakeholder management, project management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven ability to adapt and work independently
  • Creative with ideas and strong with execution

Tue-Fri: 2pm-10pm

Sat: 830am-630pm
