Job summary
TELUS Digital AI Community is seeking an AI Speech Quality Specialist to evaluate and validate speech AI systems, ensuring natural-sounding voice, accurate recognition, and high-quality datasets. You will work remotely within a vast global community, contributing to model improvements and training pipelines.
Requirements include native Malay proficiency and professional English, with hands-on experience in professional audio tools and ASR/TTS evaluation.
Qualifications
- Native-level Malay required for pronunciation and linguistic accuracy.
- Professional English required for technical instructions and documentation.
- Hands-on experience with at least one professional audio tool (DAW).
- Identity verification (IDV) process required as soon as possible after application.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate AI-generated speech for naturalness, pronunciation, rhythm, tone, and emotion.
- Identify transcription errors and linguistic nuances in ASR outputs.
- Analyze audio using waveform and spectrogram tools to identify quality issues.
- Provide structured feedback for model improvement.
