Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Education or equivalent with post-graduate teaching qualification.
Minimum three years’ full-time teaching IGCSE Malay in an international primary/secondary school.
Computer literacy with strong interpersonal communication skills.
Fluency in written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia.

Responsibilities

Follow policies and practices reflecting the school’s commitment to high achievement and effective feedback.
Establish a clear understanding of the importance of Malay in pupil development.
Use data effectively to identify underachieving pupils and implement action plans.
Work effectively as a Form Tutor as part of a Year Team.
Ensure curriculum coverage, continuity and progression for all pupils.
Establish partnership with parents to involve them in learning and progress.
Contribute to marketing activities and events for Asia Pacific International School.
