A manufacturing company in Subang Jaya is seeking a Maintenance Technician (Repairer) responsible for performing routine and preventive maintenance on machinery and systems. The successful candidate will troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical components while ensuring compliance with safety and environmental standards. The Maintenance Technician (Repairer) is responsible for performing routine and preventive maintenance activities to ensure all machinery, equipment, and systems operate efficiently and safely. This role involves troubleshooting, repairing, installing, and testing mechanical and electrical components while supporting continuous improvement and ensuring compliance with safety and environmental standards.
Perform routine, scheduled, and preventive maintenance for machinery, electrical, and control systems.
Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical, electrical, and PLC-related issues.
Repair machinery parts and ensure timely replacement of worn components.
Install, test, and commission new equipment or upgraded machinery.
Support equipment modifications to improve performance and reliability.
Prepare and maintain accurate records of maintenance activities.
Document breakdown reports, repair logs, and equipment performance findings.
Ensure all maintenance tasks comply with company safety procedures and environmental regulations.
Participate in continuous improvement activities to enhance workplace safety and equipment reliability.
Support engineering projects as required.
Collaborate with the engineering team to minimize downtime and improve equipment efficiency.
Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or related engineering field.
2 to 3 years of relevant working experience in maintenance or machinery repair.
Proficient in Microsoft Office.
Technical skills in welding, PLC troubleshooting, and mechanical repairs.
Strong diagnostic, problem-solving, and technical analysis skills.
Ability to read technical diagrams and equipment manuals.
Good teamwork, communication, and time management abilities.
Able to work independently and handle emergencies or urgent repair tasks.
Workshop and production floor environment.
May involve shift work, extended hours, or on-call duties depending on operational needs.
