Job description
Overview

Responsible for preventive maintenance (PM) and corrective maintenance (CM) activities, ensuring work is performed to the required standards and documented in the CMMS system.

Responsibilities
  • Complete all preventive maintenance (PM) according to planned schedule in the most efficient way.
  • Ensure equipment is back to operations and signed off by store staff before the PM work is closed.
  • Carry out PM in accordance with standards set and trained by the equipment manufacturer.
  • Update PM completion promptly in the CMMS with all required documentation.
  • Escalate to BMC if challenges arise in completing PM timely.
  • Schedule completion for Preventive Maintenance.
  • Complete all corrective maintenance (CM) work within the agreed Service Level Agreement (SLA).
  • Carry out repair works in accordance with standards set and trained by the equipment manufacturer and avoid taking shortcuts.
  • Update CM completion promptly in the CMMS; if work cannot be completed, set status to "work in progress (WIP)" with appropriate remarks and documentation.
  • Escalate to BMC if challenges arise in completing repair work timely.
  • Accountable for maintenance works including spare parts to be managed within the approved/allocated budget.
  • Accountable to manage overtime costs for the in-house technician within the allocated budget.
  • Perform cost analysis using CMMS reports/KPI tools and propose improvement plans.
  • Site condition assessment.
  • Maintain and upkeep company vehicle and tools provided for carrying out work.
  • Ensure spare parts are managed properly, utilized efficiently, and usage is updated in the CMMS system in a timely manner.
  • Carry out ad-hoc projects or duties as assigned by a superior.
Qualifications
  • At least 3-5 years of experience as a maintenance technician.
  • Required to travel within the managed area to perform tasks.
  • Own motorcycle.
  • Experience working in retail industry with multiple sites.
  • Experience in refrigeration systems such as air-conditioning.
  • Must have a valid GDL license (first-time application sponsored by the company).
