Job description

Conduct regular inspections of facility systems, including HVAC, plumbing, lighting, and building structures.

Identify and address maintenance needs to prevent potential issues.

Perform repairs and maintenance tasks related to electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.

Respond promptly to facility-related emergencies and implement corrective actions.

Maintain outdoor spaces, including landscaping, parking lots, and exterior structures.

Monitor and address issues related to drainage, irrigation, and exterior lighting.

Ensure that the facility complies with safety regulations and standards.

Conduct safety inspections and implement necessary improvements.

Coordinate with external contractors for specialized facility maintenance needs.

Collaborate with other departments to address facility-related requirements.

Develop and implement a preventive maintenance schedule for production machinery.

Perform routine checks and lubrication to prevent breakdowns.

Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with production machinery.

Execute timely and effective repairs to minimize downtime.

Maintain accurate records of machine maintenance activities and schedules.

Document machine specifications, manuals, and maintenance history.

Work closely with production teams to understand machine-related challenges.

Provide support during equipment setup, changeovers, and breakdowns.

Identify opportunities for improving machine reliability and efficiency.

Propose and implement enhancements or modifications to optimize equipment performance.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical certifications are a plus.

Proven experience in facility and machine maintenance, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.

Strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems.

Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.

Proficiency in using hand and power tools for repairs and maintenance.

Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and blueprints.

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills
