Job description

We are seeking a talented and dedicated Maintenance Technician (Chargeman A0, A1 & A4) to join our team!

Asiamost Sdn Bhd is a subsidiary of AME Elite Consortium Berhad. This company specializes in fire-fighting systems and electrical systems for buildings. We focus on talent development to support our expanding business.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with safety rules, quality policies, and employee guidelines.
  • Carry out, assist, and plan preventive maintenance and emergent repairs for facilities systems such as HVAC (air conditioning, heating, refrigeration units), building exhaust fans, ventilation units, biosafety cabinets, pass boxes (dynamic & static), LAF, fume hoods, cold rooms (chillers & freezers), refrigeration systems, fire fighting systems, electrical equipment, BMS & EMS systems, and others.
  • Have good technical knowledge and hands-on experience in troubleshooting and analyzing problems.
  • Understand pharmaceutical documentation such as deviations, CCR, investigation reports, protocols, PM planners, calibration planners, calibration master lists, SOPs, monitoring logbooks, checklists for PPM, and related documents for facilities systems.
  • Possess good knowledge of monitoring and control systems such as BAS, BMS, control systems, and EMS.
  • Be familiar with safety permits, job hazard analyses (JHAs), hazard identification, risk assessment, and risk control (HIRARC) to ensure safe execution of maintenance activities and assist the EHSS team.
  • Participate in drills such as fire drills and emergency responses.
  • Train in-house technicians and contractors as required.
  • Have good electrical work knowledge.
  • Manage calibration activities for all measuring and monitoring equipment of HVAC, fire fighting systems, electrical equipment, BMS & EMS systems, etc.
  • Respond to Energy Commission (ST) authority when required.
  • Follow up on electrical equipment or system calibration and coordinate with contractors.
  • Monitor reports and activities in electrical or plant rooms diligently.
  • Maintain electrical panels and plant rooms.
  • Assist 33kV chargeman during electrical activities on-site.
  • Assist 33kV visiting chargeman on-site, follow up on findings and reports.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in electrical & electronics engineering or related field.
  • 2-3 years of experience with facilities systems or relevant experience in manufacturing, pharmaceutical, healthcare, or cleanroom industries.
  • 2-3 years of experience supervising or leading facilities divisions in high-volume production environments.
  • Chargeman certificate is an advantage.
  • Process-oriented with data-driven decision-making skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in fast-paced, high-volume environments.
  • Strong commitment to job responsibilities.
  • Excellent PC and troubleshooting skills.
  • Extensive knowledge of facility systems/equipment, electronic development, and PCBA production, functionality, and interaction.
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
