Overview

We are seeking a talented and dedicated Maintenance Technician (Chargeman A0, A1 & A4) to join our team!

Asiamost Sdn Bhd is a subsidiary of AME Elite Consortium Berhad. This company specializes in fire-fighting and electrical systems for buildings. We focus on talent development to support our expanding business.

Responsibilities

1. Ensure compliance with safety rules, quality policies, and employee guidelines.
2. Carry out, assist, and plan preventive maintenance and emergency repairs for facilities systems (HVAC, fire fighting, electrical, BMS, EMS, etc.).
3. Possess good technical knowledge and hands-on experience in troubleshooting and analyzing problems.
4. Maintain pharmaceutical documentation such as deviation reports, CCR, investigation reports, protocols, PM planner, calibration planner, SOPs, and monitoring logs.
5. Monitor and control systems like BAS, BMS, control systems, and EMS.
6. Understand safety permits, job hazard analyses (JHAs), and HIRARC to ensure safe project and maintenance execution, and assist the EHSS team.
7. Participate in drill exercises such as fire drills and emergency responses.
8. Train in-house technicians and contractors as required.
9. Have good electrical work knowledge.
10. Manage calibration activities for all measuring and monitoring equipment related to HVAC, fire fighting, electrical, BMS, and EMS systems.
11. Respond to Energy Commission (ST) authority requests when necessary.
12. Follow up on electrical equipment calibration and assist contractors.
13. Oversee reports and activities in electrical or plant rooms without fail.
14. Maintain electrical panels and plant rooms.
15. Assist 33kV chargeman during electrical activities onsite.
16. Support 33kV visiting chargeman, follow up on findings and reports.

Requirements

1. Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in electrical & electronics engineering or related field.
2. 2-3 years of experience with facilities systems or relevant experience in manufacturing, pharmaceutical, healthcare, or cleanroom industries.
3. 2-3 years supervising or leading facilities divisions in high-volume production environments.
4. Chargeman certificate is an advantage.
5. Process-oriented with data-driven decision-making skills.
6. Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced, high-volume environments.
7. Strong commitment to job responsibilities.
8. Good PC and troubleshooting skills.
9. Extensive knowledge of facility systems, electronic development, and PCBA production.
10. Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
