ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Corrective Maintenance Activities
- Diagnose and repair the functionality problems reported by the customers in order to provide the best work conditions.
- Provide feedback to the supervisor about issues or problems detected during the Corrective Maintenance activities and that require to be solved to guarantee the optimum service level.
- Provide support in corrective activities to the Maintenance Technician 1 when it is required.
Preventive Maintenance Activities
- Responsible to perform the Preventive Maintenance activities assigned by the supervisor according to the Preventive Maintenance Program to equipment in a medium technology level and/or to equipment with a medium impact or medium-critical level according to the requirements in each location.
- Provide feedback to the supervisor about issues or problems detected during the Preventive Maintenance activities and that require to be solved to guarantee the optimum service level.
- Identify and recommend any activity required to include or discard in order to improve the Preventive Maintenance Program.
Maintenance work request
- Performs works requested to the maintenance area.
- Contact the requester to get all the information needed for the work and work together to provide the support required by the customer to guarantee the customer satisfaction.
- Keep tracking of the materials, spare parts, chemicals or others required to perform the work requested to guarantee the best delivery time to the customers.
Special projects
- Provides support during special projects that includes but are not limited to machinery or equipment installation, improvement projects, layout modifications, refurbish projects, manufacturing of parts, modifications to equipment, design, and any other project or work requested to the maintenance area by the clients required to achieve their goals focused on the key results.
- Able to use the A3 tool to analyze to identify the root causes of problems. Also able to lead kaizen events to solve those problems.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Required Degree: High school Diploma (or local country equivalent education).
- Panduit recognized technical certificate/degree or successful completion of Panduit’s development educational program.
- Certificate(s): Technical certificate/degree or Panduit’s development educational program certificate.
- Experience: Three (3) to five (5) years relevant experience.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITY
- Customer service oriented.
- Intermediate computers skills in word processing, spreadsheet, email, internet and design software (drawings).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Effectively communicate technical information and project status in writing and verbally.
- Ability to analyze problems to find root cause solutions.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to use electrical test instruments.
- Ability to use hand and power tools.
- Ability to use Hand Pallet, Lift Truck, Boom & Scissor Lift.
- Lifting: Lifting of up to 50 lb., up to 4 hours per day.
- Walking, bending, stooping, carrying tools or parts, climb stairs, ladders or scaffolds throughout the day.
