Responsibilities

1. Maintenance of Mechanical and Electrical Equipment for Process Lines and Utilities
2. Performing Preventive Maintenance (PM mechanical & Electrical)
3. Conduct inspections and document the parameters of equipment and its components to verify that they remain within permissible limits.
4. Collect data on equipment breakdown for failure analysis.
5. Performing die cleaning activity
6. Project installation, supervision and commissioning
7. Overseeing and managing contractors.
8. Supporting the project engineer in the mechanical and electrical inspection of the process line.
9. Verification and approval of work completed by the project's contractors.
10. Notify the Mechanical Maintenance leader regarding the status of completed assigned tasks.
11. Develops a proactive relationship with plant staff to ensure prompt communication regarding maintenance concerns.
12. Makes contact with outside suppliers for supply of items related to maintenance and allocated projects.
13. Communicates with technical personnel of other (local and overseas) divisions where necessary for the collation of technical or any other information that may be available.
14. Participates in technical exhibitions and showcases organized by various companies, as well as industrial and governmental organizations.

Qualifications

1. Diploma holder preferably in technical background in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering, mechatronics or equivalent.
2. Proficient in technical abilities and capable of effectively communicating in English while engaging with employees at every organizational level.
3. Capable of working in varying shifts and in a fast-paced setting.
4. Fit to operate ECLU
5. Proficient in using computers.
