Job Overview

We are looking for a skilled and reliable Maintenance Technician to join our team on a 1-year contract. In this role, you will be responsible for performing scheduled maintenance and minor repairs on machines and equipment to ensure smooth operations in the common areas. You will work closely with team members to minimize downtime and avoid interruptions while ensuring all systems run efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Scheduled Maintenance: Carry out regular maintenance tasks in common areas to ensure proper functioning and minimize any operational interruptions.
• Repairs and Troubleshooting: Perform minor repairs on malfunctioning machines and equipment promptly to reduce downtime.
• System Inspections: Conduct routine checks and inspections to prevent and minimize potential system failures or disruptions.
• Troubleshooting & Analysis: Diagnose and troubleshoot system and equipment issues, implementing effective solutions.
• Documentation: Read and follow repair manuals, and collaborate with contractors when necessary to ensure procedures are followed.
• Testing & Recommendations: Run system tests, interpret results, and offer recommendations for improvements or repairs.
• Parts Sourcing: Source replacement parts as needed to maintain equipment functionality.
• Supplier & Stakeholder Relations: Negotiate with suppliers, building management, and stakeholders to ensure smooth operations and proper resource allocation.
• Cost Estimates: Provide time and material cost estimates prior to initiating any repair or maintenance work.

Requirements

• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in a maintenance role or similar field.
• Skills: Proficiency in basic and some advanced skills in procedures, techniques, tools, materials, and/or equipment relevant to the area of specialization.
• Supervision: Works under direct supervision and adheres to established procedures to accomplish tasks.
• Problem-Solving: Ability to apply a limited degree of judgment when resolving non-standard problems or issues.
• Competitive salary of RM 3,400 per month.
