Position Summary

Maintenance Technician

Duties
  1. Equipment Maintenance & Troubleshooting
    Perform preventive and corrective maintenance and troubleshoot equipment issues.
  2. Sterilization Process Monitoring
    Ensure sterilization equipment operates within specified parameters.
  3. Calibration & Documentation
    Calibrate equipment and maintain accurate records of all maintenance and inspections.
  4. Safety & Compliance
    Follow safety protocols and ensure compliance with radiation safety regulations.
  5. Plant Operations
    Oversee daily radiation plant operations and minimize downtime.
  6. Process Improvement
    Analyze and enhance irradiation processes for better efficiency and quality.
  7. Quality Assurance
    Ensure consistent process quality and support audits and validations.
  8. Project Management
    Lead projects involving equipment installation, upgrades, and coordination with suppliers.
  9. Technical Support & Training
    Serve as SME; support and train plant staff on radiation systems and best practices.
  10. Radiation Protection
    Act as Radiation Protection Officer, managing radioactive materials and ensuring safety compliance.
  11. Reporting
    Prepare reports on operations, safety, and project status for management review.
Education & Experience

Education: High School Diploma or GED in Electrical Engineering or Electronics

Experience: Minimum 2 years of relevant experience

Additional Information

Pay rate for this opportunity is $[INSERT]. This position is incentive plan eligible, with target earnings of $[INSERT RANGE].
