We are currently seeking applicants for a Maintenance Technician at Vishay Semiconductor Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. This role is responsible for implementing preventive, predictive, and total productive maintenance programs to ensure production equipment is in control and product quality meets expectations.

Job Location:

This position is located in Krubong, Melaka, in a vibrant industrial area. The location offers exposure to diverse local cultures and is near malls, restaurants, recreation parks, and a stadium.

What You Will Be Doing

• Perform preventive maintenance activities to support production.
• Conduct equipment conversion and troubleshooting for automotive and non-automotive lines.
• Lead a team on continuous improvement projects aligned with organizational objectives.
• Plan, coordinate, and execute all manufacturing equipment installation, maintenance, and sustaining activities.
• Practice Total Productive Maintenance to keep machines in optimal condition.
• Participate in new equipment installation, setup, buyoff, and qualification until full production release.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, health, safety, and environmental policies.

What You Will Bring

• Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or related Engineering field.
• At least 3 years of industrial experience in equipment maintenance.
• Proficiency in computer applications and understanding of technical drawings and circuit diagrams.
• Broad technical knowledge and strong leadership skills.
• Knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing and machinery is an advantage.
