Job description

Overall, Purpose of the Job

The Maintenance Technician position is responsible for safely applying procedures for operating surface equipment, tools, and techniques to ensure high-quality, cost-effective service to customers with the highest standards of Service Quality and no HSE incidents, in accordance with company policies, standards, and procedures.

Principal Duties

1. Adhere to Deleum Code of Business Conduct.
2. Comply with the requirements of the competence management system, including the Performance Based on Competency Program (PBCP).
3. Follow Deleum and/or customer’s QHSE requirements.
4. Ensure all inventory and certificates are up-to-date for SWCP, Lubricators, BOP, and stuffing box.
5. Perform service, maintenance, and assist with inspections of SWCP, Lubricators, BOP, and stuffing box as per maintenance schedule.
6. Repair additional equipment such as air compressors and Gensets as needed, following the maintenance program.
7. Maintain proper condition and storage of tools at the base.
8. Assist in completing work orders for all repairs and services on SWCP, Lubricators, BOP, and stuffing box.
9. Support Maintenance Technicians and wireline operators with inspections and safety checks on relevant equipment.
10. Assist Maintenance Supervisor in failure investigations related to the equipment.
11. Attend daily toolbox meetings at the base and offshore.
12. Keep the workplace clean, tidy, and free of obstructions.
13. Ensure equipment is in good condition before mobilization for location use.
14. Participate in function tests with client or third-party witnesses prior to offshore mobilization.
15. Periodically go offshore for preventive maintenance on wireline units under supervision.
16. Perform any additional tasks reasonably related to the job and within your qualifications and expertise.
