A leading company in the EMS industry seeks a Maintenance Manager to oversee maintenance strategies and lead the maintenance team. The role involves ensuring compliance with industry standards, conducting root cause analysis, and improving operational efficiency. Candidates should possess a relevant engineering degree and have significant experience in automation within high-volume electronics manufacturing.
Key responsibilities and requirements include:
Develop and execute preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance strategies
Lead troubleshooting and root cause analysis (RCA) for equipment failures
Monitor and improve OEE, MTBF, and MTTR performance metrics
Manage spare parts inventory to reduce downtime and control costs
Oversee installation and qualification (IQ, OQ, PQ) of automation equipment
Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, IPC, ESD, and other industry standards
Manage calibration and verification schedules to maintain system accuracy
Troubleshoot and resolve issues in robotics, SMT, ICT, FCT, AOI, and conveyors
Implement AI-driven predictive maintenance solutions
Collaborate with Automation, Process, and Quality teams to improve efficiency
Conduct FMEA to identify and mitigate potential failure risks
Lead and mentor maintenance engineers and technicians
Provide hands-on training on maintenance best practices
Promote a culture of safety, efficiency, and continuous improvement
Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards
Maintain accurate maintenance logs, repair records, and SOPs
Support internal and external audits with proper documentation
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
8+ years of experience in automation maintenance in EMS or high-volume electronics manufacturing
Hands-on experience with SMT, ICT/FCT, robotics, and industrial automation
Proficient in PLCs (Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Omron) and robotics (Fanuc, ABB, KUKA)
Familiar with pick-and-place machines, reflow ovens, AOI, SPI, and wave soldering
Skilled in CMMS, MES, and SCADA systems
Able to read electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and control diagrams
Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, and TPM methodologies
Strong problem-solving, communication, and multitasking skills
Able to work independently under pressure
