A leading company in the chocolate manufacturing sector is seeking a Maintenance Manager to ensure optimal performance and compliance in facilities maintenance. The ideal candidate will have a degree in engineering and extensive experience managing mechanical and electrical systems. This role demands strong leadership skills and a proactive approach to maintenance, ensuring operations run smoothly and safely within food safety regulations.

• Oversee the installation, maintenance, repair, and overall upkeep of the company’s equipment and facilities
• Plan, schedule, and implement preventive and corrective maintenance to minimize downtime and optimize equipment performance
• Monitor and ensure all maintenance activities comply with food safety standards (e.g., HACCP, GMP)
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and utility system issues to ensure smooth and uninterrupted production
• Lead, train, and supervise the maintenance team to meet daily and long-term operational requirements
• Manage equipment inventory, vendor coordination, and maintenance budget efficiently
• Collaborate with production, quality, and other departments to support operations and drive continuous improvement
• Ensure strict adherence to health and safety regulations across all maintenance functions
REQUIREMENTS :
1. Education & Professional Qualification:
At least possess with a Degree in Engineering (Electrical/ Electronics), Engineering (Mechanical) or related field.
2. Training Needs:
Trained on the requirements of the HACCP, GMP, and other food safety system, ISO 9001 Standard, if preferred;
Trained on the programs (if any) identified in the On-Job Training Program & Records.
3. Necessary Experience:
Possess a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, preferably in the areas of electrical and mechanical.
Ability to work within deadlines and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to keep track of and report on activity.
Working knowledge of facilities machine and equipment.
Working knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems.
Familiarity in drafting and understanding blueprints and schematics.
Experience in planning maintenance operations.
Ability to analyze data and create and review processes.
Supervisory and management experience.
Ability to work independently.
Leadership and management skills;
Creative problem-solving tools and/or analytical skills;
Communication and presentation skills;
Interpersonal skills, at all levels;
