Position Summary

The Maintenance Manager is responsible for overseeing the upkeep, repair, and operational efficiency of all sterilization equipment and facility infrastructure, ensuring minimal downtime, process interruptions, non-conformance, and compliance with industry standards.

Duties
  • Equipment Management: Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to ensure equipment reliability and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, guidelines, maintain accurate records, documentation, and validation protocols.
  • Process Optimization: Identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization, and implement best practices.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure sterilization processes meet quality standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Team Leadership and Development: Lead and develop a team, providing guidance, training, and support.

  • Emergency Response and Troubleshooting: Address equipment failures, malfunctions, or emergencies by conducting root cause analyses and implementing corrective actions.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Ensure alignment of sterilization processes with business objectives and customer requirements.
  • Vendor and Supplier Management: Establish and maintain relationships with equipment suppliers, service providers, and contractors to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness.
  • Budget Management: Develop and manage the sterilization engineering budget.
  • Training and Documentation: Provide training to sterilization engineering staff and identify and mitigate risks associated with sterilization processes, equipment, and facilities by implementing risk management strategies.
Education Degree

Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering

Required Experience

A strong technical background in mechanical and electrical engineering, with expertise in preventive and predictive maintenance.

Minimum of 15 years of experience.
