Job summary

Hard Rock Hotel Penang is seeking a Maintenance & Engineering (M&E) Crew member responsible for maintaining, installing and repairing mechanical and electrical equipment across guest rooms, function rooms, public areas, and all M&E facilities including cafe, spa and retail outlets.

You will handle audiovisual gear, lighting, sound, and conference equipment, perform routine preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshoot systems, and support renovation works while ensuring safety standards

Qualifications

• College coursework preferred; high school diploma or equivalency required.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining, installing and repairing all mechanical & electrical equipment and building services.
• Setup, care, handling, maintenance and repair of audio visual, sound, lighting, conference and relevant equipment.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance for guest rooms, public areas, back-of-house, and all hotel facilities.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical, mechanical, plumbing, air-conditioning, and other building systems.
• Attend to daily maintenance requests and ensure timely completion of work orders.
• Conduct routine inspections to ensure equipment and facilities operate safely and efficiently.
• Support renovation, installation, and upgrading works as required.
• Ensure compliance with hotel safety standards and maintenance procedures.

Your main duties center on the procedural and personal dimensions as applied in the delivery of the guest experience in guest rooms, function rooms, public areas and all hotel M&E facilities areas including of cafe, spa and retail outlets.
