Job summary

Renesas Electronics Malaysia in Penang is seeking a Mechanical/Electrical Engineer to lead machine stability, maintenance, and process improvement across critical fabrication lines.

You will mentor technicians, drive TPM/CMMS based maintenance, support new product launches, manage cost investments, ensure safety, and maintain 5S/ISO/IATF standards while collaborating across functions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical/electrical engineering or related field.
• Certifications in maintenance or machine reliability (e.g., TPM, CMMS).

Responsibilities

• Ensure machine stability and maintenance across manufacturing lines with PM standards.
• Support production and new product development, including machine setup and relocation.
• Lead cost reduction projects and assist budget planning and investments.
• Mentor peers and technicians; maintain cross‑department communication.
• Ensure safety compliance and follow SOPs; manage environmental, safety, and health concerns.
• Maintain 5S and 3Tei practices; update documentation and ISO/IATF requirements.
