Kawan Food Berhad is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to enhance OEE across a production line and collaborate with production and quality teams to stabilize operations in Pulau Indah, Malaysia.

The role focuses on preventive maintenance, root cause analysis for downtime and quality issues, and ensuring safety policies are followed, with hands-on troubleshooting and spare parts management.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in the Food Technology/Mechanical/Electrical/Mechatronics discipline or similar.
Analytical and able to conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Coachable and possess growth mindset.
Will sing to work out of comfort zone and take on challenges.
Lean experience and control skills are an added advantage.
Good team player.
Willing to work in Pulau Indah.

Responsabilités

To improve the OEE (downtime, performance, quality) of production line.
To collaborate with production and quality team to stabilize operations.
To develop preventive maintenance and ensure timely completion.
To complete project tasks effectively from start to finish.
To conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for downtime exceeding 3 hours, repetitive and quality issues.
To comply with safety policies (HIRARC).
To carry out scheduled/planned maintenance efficiently.
To troubleshoot machinery problems due to mechanical, electrical and instrument issues.
To develop maintenance spare parts and ensure sufficient stocks.
To attend the essential training arranged by the company.
