Job Description
  • Plan, install, and oversee the installation and maintenance of electronic and instrumentation equipment, ensuring proper wiring, connections, and grounding.
  • Responsible for the PLC system in the plant: plan, install, monitor, and maintain the system.
  • Ensure the SCADA system is in good condition.
  • Monitor the performance of electronics and instrument systems to identify and diagnose potential problems, breakdowns, and repairs that are required; proactively plan to rectify and repair to avoid unplanned downtime.
  • Keep abreast of technological evolution, leading practices, and industry standards to upkeep and implement feasible technological enhancements that improve performance and efficiency.
  • Research new materials and propose solutions that can be utilized or implemented to improve the functionality of electronic and instrument equipment.
  • Manage suppliers, contractors, and vendors of the electronics and instrument systems to ensure maintenance, repair, or installation of equipment meets the requirements and performance expected by stakeholders.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of all designs, installations, and maintenance activities.
  • Develop and share knowledge in the area of expertise with the team to enhance competency and upskill the workforce.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Electronics or Instrumentation or equivalent with minimum CGPA of 3.2
  • Minimum 2 years of working experience in electrical and instrumentation.
  • Proficient in computer software including PLC programming.
