Job Description: Maintenance Engineer

We are a multi-national company involved in developing, manufacturing, and marketing intelligent and ergonomic products. Located in I-Park Industrial Area, Kulai, Johor, we are seeking to hire a Maintenance Engineer.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee maintenance and repair of machinery and equipment used in production.
• Conduct regular maintenance checks, troubleshoot issues, investigate equipment breakdowns, and monitor equipment performance.
• Recommend equipment upgrades and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Develop preventive maintenance plans, perform predictive maintenance, and collaborate with production teams for autonomous maintenance.
• Modify, troubleshoot, and diagnose faults on machinery and equipment.
• Respond promptly to equipment failures, investigate issues, and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime.
• Manage inventory of spare parts for equipment and facilities.
• Plan and execute projects as required by management or other departments.
• Assist the Engineering Manager in monitoring utility consumption and suggesting cost-saving measures.
• Lead a team of technicians in facility activities.
• Perform any additional tasks assigned within the scope of a Maintenance Engineer.

Candidate Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Engineering or related fields.
• Minimum of 5 years experience in facilities and equipment maintenance.
• Knowledge of high voltage electrical systems and compressed air systems.
• Experience with facility equipment such as air compressors, scrubber systems, gas supply, pumps, and fire systems.
• Understanding of machinery operation and preventive maintenance setup.
• Familiarity with DOE requirements and WWTP knowledge.
