Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years related working experience in CNC machining workshop.
  • Knowledge in electric systems AC, DC, STAR/DELTA and conversion.
  • Knowledge of CNC programming, PLC systems and relevant software applications.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and conduct scheduled maintenance of machines and equipment.
  • Diagnose faults and carry out machine repairs.
  • Perform quarterly machine accuracy checks and calibrations.
  • Supervise maintenance executives and technicians.

Job Details
  • Position: Maintenance Engineer - CNC Machining
  • Employment type: Permanent
  • Location: Batu Kawan, Penang, US-based manufacturing plant
  • Salary: RM5,000 – RM7,000 per month
Responsibilities
  • Planning and undertaking scheduled machine or equipment maintenance.
  • Responding to machine breakdowns, diagnosing faults and repairing.
  • Performing quarterly machine accuracy checks, calibration and accuracy test cuts.
  • Create and review machine maintenance procedures as and when necessary.
  • Daily inspection to check and ensure all equipment and tools are kept clean and safe to use.
  • Troubleshooting and problem solving according to the technical information and based on good workmanship.
  • Ensure maintenance activities comply with health and safety regulations.
  • Machine troubleshooting - Electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, etc.
  • Supervise maintenance executives & technicians.
  • Provide the appropriate level of feedback, support and coaching to the team.
Education and Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering
  • Knowledge in CNC machine system controllers e.g. Okuma OSP, Mazatrol, Siemens & Fanuc
  • Knowledge of CNC programming, PLC systems and relevant software applications, including excellent problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge in electric systems AC, DC, STAR/DELTA and conversion
