- SPM / Certificate / Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronic Engineering or related fields.
- Minimum 2–3 years of relevant experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment (F&B industry is a plus).
- Hands-on knowledge of mechanical and electrical repair.
- Familiar with old machinery and able to troubleshoot without advanced automation tools.
- Basic knowledge of wiring, plumbing, welding, and general maintenance.
- Able to work independently and respond to urgent breakdowns.
- Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of production machines (e.g., mixers, boilers, filling & sealing machines).
- Carry out scheduled preventive maintenance (PM) on all equipment and utilities.
- Inspect and maintain facility infrastructure, including plumbing, electrical systems, lighting, and minor building repairs.
- Respond promptly to machine breakdowns and minimize production downtime.
- Monitor spare parts inventory and liaise with purchasing for restocking when needed.
- Support installation, relocation, and upgrading of machinery when required.
- Maintain proper maintenance logs, records, and reporting to the supervisor/manager.
- Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety, food hygiene, and regulatory standards (e.g., JKKP, DOSH).
- Work closely with production and QA teams to resolve machine or facility-related issues.
