Job description

Job Responsibility

• Performing preventative maintenance.
• Diagnosing faults
• Overseeing contractors when professional repairs are necessary.
• Diagnosing mechanical issues and correcting them. Repairing machines, equipment, or structures.
• Diagnosing and troubleshooting maintenance issues; Handling emergency requests for cleaning and maintenance services; Communicating with supervisors on the team.
• To perform monthly hostel maintenance checks.
• Per the requested project, i.e., to modify the trolly legs,
• Monitor containers in Melaka and Pahang to ensure they are always working and at the desired temperature.
• To troubleshoot, repair and install wiring as assigned by superiors.
• Repair or replace doors, walls, windows and flooring as needed and perform various other basic carpentry tasks.
• Evaluating, repairing, and maintaining plumbing.
• Ensure security and safety in all buildings and immediately report any safety hazards to management.
  
  

Requirements (Skills And Qualifications)

• Candidate must at least pass a SPM or Diploma Certificate in any course.
• Physical stamina to handle a full shift of being active and working on the building.
• Plumbing knowledge to address leaks, clogs or other drainage problems.
• Electrical wiring capabilities to manage problems with the buildingâs electricity.
• Carpentry ability to handle basic repairs around the building.
