Job summary

OneSubsea in Malaysia invites applicants for a Maintenance Apprentice to complete the Apprentices Program within the specified timeframe. You will gain exposure to facility systems and perform apprentice duties under supervision.

Fresh graduates with a Diploma in electrical or mechanical engineering are encouraged to apply; you will learn to diagnose problems, read schematics, perform preventive maintenance, and assist on maintenance projects while complying with HSSE rules.

Qualifications

• Fresh entry level are encouraged to apply.
• Diploma in electrical / mechanical engineering required or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Complete OneSubsea Apprentices Program as per guidelines.
• Complete on-job training modules as stated.
• Diagnose problems and repair equipment as needed.
• Read and understand basic electrical schematics and PLC ladder logic.
• Read basic hydraulic and pneumatic schematics.
• Perform mechanical troubleshooting and repair.
• Perform daily and routine preventive maintenance on assigned equipment.
• Assist in coordinating with contractors for facility or maintenance projects.
• Comply with company and HSSE safety requirements.
• Maintain good housekeeping at the workplace.
