Overview

Maintenance role at Hilton, located at DoubleTree Johor Bahru. The Maintenance team collaborates with superiors to ensure normal operation of hotel equipment and supports the Engineering department’s maintenance activities.

Responsibilities

• Strictly adhere to staff rules and regulations, and follow commands from superiors.
• Implement rules and regulations, operate equipment safely.
• Ensure normal operation of the hotel's daily power supply, water supply, gas supply, heating and cooling equipment.
• Inspect equipment operation records and shift handover records promptly and accurately.
• Inspect and maintain equipment and facilities under your jurisdiction.
• Save energy and control energy consumption.
• Coordinate maintenance for banquets and meetings to ensure equipment functions properly.
• Regularly test run the generator as required to ensure power during outages.
• Carry out other tasks assigned by the Management.
• Supervise and inspect the hotel’s Fire department fire prevention works and take proper measures to stop violations.
• Supervise and train technicians and apprentices, developing skills and knowledge for advancement.
• Manage working tools and track tool usage by team members.
• Recommend disciplinary action for assigned subordinates when necessary.
• Carry out any other reasonable duties and responsibilities as assigned.
